South Indian actress Yamuna who has appeared in many Telugu, Tamil and Kannada movies was caught in a deal of prostitution in a seven star hotel in Bengaluru. On Thursday the actress, the CEO of a software company and another man, predicted to be a broker, were arrested during a raid at 8:30pm by the women and narcotics wing of Central Crime Branch.
According to the police, they had received information that the actress came in the city in the afternoon, while the CEO arrived at the hotel in the evening. The arrested were taken to the CCB office.
After the raid, the joint commissioner of the police Alok Kumar Singh visited the hotel. When enquired with the hotel authorities, the spokesperson of the hotel denied any raids and said that, the police had visited as a VIP party was going on at the hotel.
The police meanwhile is suspecting a high profile prostitution racket after the incident.
